Re-Elect Jessie Fuentes for 26th Ward - Fundraiser
Meet Jessie Fuentes, Alderperson of Chicago’s 26th Ward, a queer Latina grassroots organizer, educator, and public policy advocate shaped by her upbringing in Humboldt Park. Drawing on her lived experience with family instability and the juvenile justice system, Jessie found her path at Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos High School, then earned a degree from NEIU and returned home to support Black and Latine students as a dean.
From leading youth advocacy and policy work at the Puerto Rican Cultural Center to championing solutions on violence, housing, and re‑entry, Jessie has spent over a decade fighting for community‑driven change. Today, she serves as Alderperson of the 26th Ward, bringing deep experience in education, criminal justice reform, affordable housing, and community development to uplift the neighborhood that raised her.
Join us at Rosa’s Lounge for a special blues fundraiser in support of Alderperson Jesse Fuentes’ re‑election in the 26th Ward. This event backs Jesse’s vision for safe streets, affordable housing, youth opportunity, and a vibrant arts and music community on Chicago’s West Side.
By attending and contributing, you stand with Rosa’s Lounge and our neighbors to keep a strong community voice in City Council and protect the cultural institutions that make our ward home.
Donate directly to Alderperson Jesse Fuentes’ re‑election and join us at Rosa’s Lounge on Wed. July 29th from 6:00–8:00 PM to meet the Alderperson. Enjoy an evening of great conversation, fantastic music, and even better company—then stay for our night show at 8:30 PM. Cash bar.
