This Sunday, July 12, join us as we celebrate with the Logan Square Preservation 2026 PastPort Backstage Party at Rosa’s Lounge.
You’re invited to a special behind-the-scenes event at this legendary Chicago blues club. Enjoy complimentary snacks, raffle prizes, collectible swag, and meet-and-greets with Chicago blues legends. Explore rare memorabilia on display, and spend time with founder Tony Mangiullo as he shares stories from Rosa’s 42-year history.
Take part in celebrating Logan Square’s rich legacy of music venues. Space is limited. Cash bar available, and a $5 donation goes directly to tipping the band.
We’re also proud to unveil a large-scale recreation of a Robert “BumbleBee” Novak painting, now installed on Rosa’s newly restored façade. The restoration came together beautifully thanks to Olga Sanina and Tomislav Lazarevski of Midwest Woodworks—it’s truly something to see.
As part of the restoration, sections of the original floor were carefully preserved and transformed into a new guitar—built from the very planks that carried decades of blues at Rosa’s.
A full celebration is on the way, worthy of 42 years of Chicago blues. Stay tuned for the official unveiling.
